Summary
Responsible for providing inspection services to assigned inspection jobs at the vendor shop / project site construction inspection.
Role and Responsibilities
- Inspection / Surveillance / Verification tasks as defined in the scope of work

- Shall be able to understand and interpret the relevant codes and standard applicable for inspection
- Study the codes & specifications of Items of work and implementing QA activities as per Field Quality Plan at site
- Checking quality of Raw material at Approved source and site as per the decided Frequency.
- Acceptance of Manufacturer’s Test Certificate of bought-out items and material like Cement, Reinforcement, Grouting cement, admixture and construction chemicals
- Checking of Methodology Statement with respect to specifications and different IS codes.
- Inspection / Surveillance for day to day activities pertaining to filed quality in consultation with Site-in-charge and Client / Consultants.
- Sample draw & collection for testing and witness at site / NABL lab with calibrated testing equipment’s.
- Reviewing the testing equipment’s calibration certification for its validity before any testing.
- To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed Quality Norms in execution of various activities.
- Prepare and issue the daily inspection report / weekly filed inspection report for any pending issues and non conformity and inspection reports.
- Prepare and submit his time sheet for EIC approval and to his reporting manager for his approval weekly time sheets.
- Develop professional relationship with customers, obtain periodic feedback and communicate to reporting manager.
- Update, knowledge, skill etc for competent delivery of services to the Customer.
- Promote team work and share useful information beneficial to all.
- Maintain harmonious relationship with colleagues, team members at work place and in office.
- Bring to the notice of supervisor in-case of any situation that can hamper IIVSIPL service and its brand image.
- Follow safety norms established at each locations assigned.
- Knowledge of the IIVSIPL IMS, ISO/IEC 17020: 2012 Type A requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Degree / Diploma in relevant science or engineering discipline
- For Degree, Min 8 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 2 years relevant experience.
- For Diploma, Min 10 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 3 years relevant experience.
- Genuine team player and Self –motivated and Strong communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, Sound technical base and a Practical in his approach
