Surveyor (E & l)

Summary

Responsible for providing inspection services to assigned inspection jobs at the vendor shop / project site construction inspection.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Inspection / Surveillance / Verification tasks as defined in the scope of work
   1. Review of Vendors QAP’s as per MR, PR, Drawings, Relevant Standard and Technical Spec.
   2. Shall be able to understand and interpret the relevant codes and standard applicable such as like IS, IEC, BS & Projects specifications for inspection.
   3. To carry out Shop / Factory Inspection as per Approved PR, ITP, PO, Drawings, Relevant Standard & Technical Spec.
   4. Inspection of Electrical Bought out items like Control Panel, Cables, Level Switch, Cable Tray, Bus Duct, Fuse Gear, Junction Box, Battery & Battery Charger, Instrumentations etc
   5.  Review of final QC documents dossier etc.
   6. Issue of appropriate reports including non-conformance reports.
2. Issue of IRN/MDCC after review of inspection documents like TPIA’s IRN/IR, Witness Reports, Routine & Type Test Report, review of Material/Bought-out TC, Vendor’s internal Test Reports/Test Certificates
3. Initiate project closures for completed projects and Maintain job files
4. Develop professional relationship with customers, obtain periodic feedback and communicate to reporting manager.
5. Update, knowledge, skill etc for competent delivery of services to the Customer.
6. Promote team work and share useful information beneficial to all.
7. Maintain harmonious relationship with colleagues, team members at work place and in office.
8. Bring to the notice of supervisor in-case of any situation that can hamper IIVSIPL service and its brand image.
9. Follow safety norms established at each locations assigned.
10. Knowledge of the IIVSIPL IMS Manual and ISO 17020: 2012 Type A requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Degree / Diploma in relevant science or engineering discipline
• For Degree, Min 8 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 2 years relevant experience.
• For Diploma, Min 10 years of Oil & gas in quality department or any other industry QA/QC with 3 years relevant experience.
• Genuine team player and Self –motivated and Strong communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills, Sound technical base and a Practical in his approach
