Project Coordinator

Summary

Project Coordinator functions include assisting in the development of cost controls, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, progress measurement and change management implementation and analysis involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects.

These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty as well as contractual considerations require the fully competent application of prudent project controls and project management methodologies. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods and procedures.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Assists Project Manager with project controls activities for compliance to contract requirements and internal reporting analysis requirements.
  2. Assist project management team in preparation of all Project Controls reports including by not limited to cost reporting, scheduling updates and analysis, progress reporting, change management reporting and various internal and external reporting for management.
  3. Drafts accurate and timely reports and correspondence to the FAPA (Financial Analysis & Project Administration) team as required.
  4. Works directly with the Project Manager and Project team members to identify and resolve problems in the area of general project administration.
  5. Invoicing to the client as per agreed contracts terms & conditions and realization of payment to maintain the AR within 60 days.
  6. Analyze and maintain project reports as it relates to their region.
  7. Assist Project staff in maintaining and adhering to IIVSIPL IMS requirements.
  8. Communicates and assists in preparation of all projects related reports to ensure the requirements of the clients will be met in a timely fashion.
  9. Implements and maintains IIVSIPL IMS requirements relative to responsibilities after undergoing IIVSIPL knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 2012 Type A requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • BE / Diploma degree with relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Min 3 years of Industrial experience in QA / QC or relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of Indian Standards and any other Codes. Familiar with Inspection products, Quality Plan another technical documents
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and external databases and software literacy used.
  • The ability to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
